Exceptional Veterinary Services with a Kind Heart

We are a team of board-certified specialists, highly trained emergency doctors and top veterinary professionals dedicated to providing world-class medicine and care. We aim to be an integral part of Western Montana’s veterinary community, caring for patients that need extra attention and an after-hours presence.

Advanced Imaging

In addition to our exceptional team of experienced, board-certified veterinarians and other specialists, our top-of-the-line imaging equipment sets us apart and enables us to provide thorough evaluations and accurate diagnoses.

Heska High-Resolution Digital Radiography

Heska High-Resolution Digital Radiography

Digital x-rays provide clear, extremely detailed images that can help us identify some of the most subtle abnormalities. When x-rays are in a digital format, we can share them instantly with you, your family veterinarian, and specialists around the world if needed for a greater depth of interpretation.

GE Logiq S8 Ultrasound

GE Logiq S8 Ultrasound

Advancements in ultrasound technology have been exponential, and our ultrasound unit is one of the most advanced from GE. Ultrasound produces high-resolution images of internal organs like kidneys, liver, spleen, and adrenals. It also enables detailed evaluation of heart function.

OEC 9800 C-arm: Fluoroscopy

OEC 9800 C-arm: Fluoroscopy

Our fluoroscopy unit is the same one found in many human hospitals. Basically a moving x-ray, fluoroscopy gives us the ability to diagnose complex swallowing disorders and perform minimally invasive procedures on the urinary tract. It also facilitates precise placement of surgical implants and often enables us to use smaller surgical approaches.

A CT Scan under way

CT: Siemens Emotion 16-slice Helical Computed Tomography Scanner

We use our CT for rapid, highly-detailed 3D images of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, bones, and joints.

Our CT scanner's multi-slice technology greatly expands our diagnostic capabilities, allowing us to create high-resolution images quickly, which reduces anesthesia times.

CT is particularly helpful for:

  • Improved evaluation of the lungs
  • Staging cancer
  • Planning advanced cancer surgeries
  • Vascular studies
  • Evaluation of the urinary tract
  • 3D reconstructions
  • Evaluation of joint and complex limb alignment problems

If you are a primary care veterinarian, please call (406) 218‑2800 if you have questions about our imaging capabilities.
